MW4 triggerbot and no recoil: how to use them without overdoing it
How the MW4 triggerbot decides when to fire, how the light no-recoil works on rifles, and when to use each one.
These two features are easier to use well than the aimbot, and they’re also the ones people overconfigure.
Triggerbot
The triggerbot fires when your crosshair is already on an operator. It never moves your crosshair. You still do the aiming. It just handles the click.
Settings to know:
- Short delay before the shot. This is the big one. Instant shots at inhuman speed look odd. A small delay looks like fast reflexes.
- Head or upper chest. Same logic as the aim: chest is more forgiving, head is more obvious if it’s constant.
- Same wall check. It won’t fire at someone behind a wall.
- Hold key. It only works while you hold the bind, so you control when it’s active.
Best for: close-range fights where reaction time matters, and players who like doing the aiming themselves.
No recoil
On rifles, there’s a light settle that takes the edge off recoil. It isn’t a perfectly flat laser. That’s intentional, because a dead-flat spray over a full magazine stands out in a killcam. There’s also a no-spread option.
Best for: players who can aim fine but lose fights because the gun climbs in long bursts.
Combining them
A comfortable setup for many players:
- Player visuals for information
- Triggerbot on a hold key with a small delay
- Light no recoil on
- Aimbot off or at a tiny circle
You’ll still be doing most of the aiming, and your gameplay will look natural.
Things to avoid
- Zero delay on the triggerbot
- Holding the trigger key permanently
- Running every assist in every lobby
